Durrell and 3C International launch new virtual event ‘Love Your Zoo LIVE’

Durrell is delighted to announce their exciting virtual event, Love Your Zoo LIVE, taking place on Wednesday 29th July and set within the zoo’s beautiful grounds at the picturesque manor house. From the comfort of their own homes, viewers will be introduced to some of the incredible people at Jersey Zoo and around the world who are working to save endangered species from extinction.

Throughout the show Durrell’s co-hosts, Daniel Craven and Emma Caton, will talk to the charity’s CEO Dr Lesley Dickie about what it’s like to run a zoo during a global pandemic, as well as some of the experts working to save one of the world’s rarest frogs on a remote Caribbean island. Viewers will also have the chance to see some spectacular views over Jersey’s north coast whilst finding out all about a special project that has returned a beautiful red-billed bird to the island, and some of Durrell’s experienced keepers will be talking about two adorable new zoo residents!

Viewers can tune in at 18:00 via Durrell’s website, Jersey Zoo and Durrell Facebook pages or their YouTube channel for lots of fun facts and animal antics. The audience can join the conversation too by sending their questions and comments using #LoveYourZooLIVE.
