From 10 to 15 July, France is being showcased in Jersey with the 2nd French Festival. Neighbours by only a dozen miles, Normandy couldn’t miss this opportunity to come and meet the 15,000 or so French speakers who live on the island today.
On 11 and 12 July, the region is taking to the seas to bring a touch of Normandy to the Channel Islands. A lovely opportunity to cement the ties which exist between the Channel Islands and the region.
At the invitation of the ‘Maison de la Normandie et de la Manche’, Nor- mandie Attractivité invites you to take part in an evening dedicated to the region, for all lovers of Normandy and, of course, its products and heritage. Thursday 11 July, come and say “cheers” with us, a glass of Norman cider in your hand! Normandie Attractivité invites you from 6pm onwards, to Weighbridge Place in St. Helier, to sample Norman products and produce, including financiers à la pomme, caramels d’Isi- gny and terrines au Camembert.
The agency will also explain all about our Ambassadors Network which, over the last two years, has been promoting the region across the world. With around 15 ambassador clubs across the globe, and more than 4.200 ambassadors, Normandie Attractivite is counting on you to spread the message about Normandy. And maybe, just maybe, you could become our next ambassador for Normandy…
