Visit Jersey are continuing to use the Instagram story feature to curate stories about the island break to share with the Visit Jersey community. Utilising Instagram’s biggest update from 2017 we can now give our stories a forever home using the ‘Story Highlight’ feature creating a catalogue of story highlights. Previously Instagram stories were only featured for 24 hrs before they were lost. This new feature gives us the chance to share content and story updates from the island break for longer!
Other Instagram updates
We’re now verified :) – the ultimate badge of honour from Instagram and confirmation for our followers that we are the authentic account for #theislandbreak.
What does this means? We now get some of the perks of being a verified account such as the swipe up feature on stories, allowing us to add calls-to-action to our posts, referring more traffic to partners.
Want to be featured?
Then please send us updates from your event or product so that we can then curate a story and share this with our community which helps us tell the island break story.
