UK & French PR Update

French PR Coverage

Jersey à Pâques... Pourquoi pas vous? Venez découvrir #lebreakinsulaire– and that’s exactly what six French bloggers did following our invite for them to spend the long Easter weekend in Jersey following Les Salon des Blogeurs which Visit Jersey attended with Condor France in St. Malo.

We set up six bespoke itineraries with partners that gave our blogger guests the opportunity to experience different ways to enjoy the island break over a weekend.  All the bloggers were super active on their social channels over the Easter weekend with all featuring Jersey as their insta story sharing their experiences.

UK & French PR Update

Since their trip we have seen three blog posts, Tiphaine from ‘Mes Petits Carnets’ blog shared Jersey en 10 photos & a video’ Tony and Adeline from On met les Voiles blog shared 5 raisons d’aller à Jersey’ and Guillaume and Betty from Trip in Wild shared ‘Un break nature à Jersey’.

All capture Jersey beautifully and share their experiences during their time on Jersey.

We have also captured their itineraries and included them within our current French campaign competition which shares with visitors to the page details on the proposed weekend itineraries, like the ones we prepared for our blogger guests linking through to our partners that supported this activity.

As always, we thank our partners for their support, and invite anyone who would like to know about PR opportunities to get in touch with Rebecca

Katherine Macalister and Family were recently supported to visit Jersey by Condor Ferries and Jersey Heritage, following a visit last year when she stayed in St. Helier which left her wanting to return to discover more about Jersey.

Katherine got in touch with Visit Jersey for some suggestions of what she and her family could enjoy during their time on the island, we provided her with an island pass to discover some of the islands attractions, made some suggestions of places to eat, as well as places to visit during her time on the island.

The article she produced following her trip is a lovely piece, capturing Jersey well framing what it can offer a family looking to get away from it all that shares details of many places they enjoyed during their time on the island.

Coverage recently appeared, in both the print and e-edition (pp. 26-30) versions of Escapism Magazine (circ. 101,681). The piece is titled ‘Winging It’ and is a roundup of the best UK breaks for 2017, which also includes Norfolk, Scotland, the Lake District and Cornwall. Included are some of Jersey’s top attractions, such as bioluminescence in La Rocque with Jersey Walk Adventures, Jersey Seafaris boat trips and Longueville Manor.

Escapism Magazine also featured Jersey in a Facebook post which tags Visit Jersey, Jersey Walk Adventures and Longueville Manor Hotel and Restaurant.

Escapism is a free monthly travel magazine that is targeted toward British people looking to plan their next holiday, with content including expert advice, features and images to take readers "on a trip to the heart of global travel.” Escapism’s readers span a wide range of salaries, lifestyles and interests, but they all share a common love of discovering the wider world.
