July 2025 Summary
- Visits: An estimated 61,300 visits were made in July 2025, down 11,200 compared with July 2024. The 16% year-to-date decline is driven by drops from April through to July, while visits from January to March remained flat year-over-year.
- Bed Nights and Length of Stay: Visitor nights fell by 28,200 in July and were down 12% year-to-date to July. The average length of stay was 5.0 nights year-to-date to July, up from 4.7 nights over the same period in 2024.
- Passengers: In July 2025, 113,500 passengers departed Jersey, a 11,900 decline from the previous year.

Jersey received an estimated 61,300 visits in July 2025, 11,200 fewer than in July 2024 (-15%).
This included:
- Overnight stays: 55,500 (-8,800)
- Day visits: 5,700 (-2,400)
By travel type:
- By air: 39,000 (-9,700)
- By sea: 22,200 (-1,500)
There were an estimated 38,700 overnight leisure visits in July 2025, 5,600 fewer than in July 2024.
Year-to-date to July 2025
An estimated 264,100 visits to Jersey were made in the year to July 2025, 50,000 fewer than in 2024 (-16%).
This included:
- Overnight stays: 232,400 (-16% or -45,900)
- Day visits: 31,800 (-11% or -4,100)
By travel type:
- By air: 189,300 (-12% or -25,400)
- By sea: 74,800 (-25% or -24,600)
By purpose of visit:
- Leisure: 149,500 (-24% or -48,000)
- Visiting friends/relatives: 55,100 ( -9% or -5,600)
- Business: 36,700 (+15% or +4,800)
- Other: 22,800 (-5% or -1,200)
By country of residence:
- United Kingdom: 184,500 (-13% or -28,200)
- France: 33,400 (-34% or -17,300)
- Other Channel Islands: 16,600 (-18% or -3,600)
- Germany: 9,200 (5% or +400)

There were an estimated 130,100 overnight leisure visits in the year to July 2025, 40,500 fewer than in July 2024.

Visitors made up 54% of departing passengers in July 2025.
Year-to-date to July 2025
In the year to July 2025, there were an estimated 525,700 departing passengers from Jersey, 48,200 fewer than in 2024 (-8%).
As of July 2025, visitors made up 50% of departing passengers year-to-date.
