A squad of 34 boys from Dulwich College in South East London enjoyed a fantastic pre-season rugby tour in Jersey this August.
Staying at the Jersey Accommodation and Activity Centre in St Martin, the boys had some training sessions at the Jersey Reds Rugby Club and at Le Rocquier School in St. Clement before playing a match against the Reds. They also had time for some surf lessons, bowling and a speed boat ride from St. Brelade’s Bay.
The tour was organised by specialist school sports tour operator, Club Europe. Account Manager Danielle Tysall-Blay was in Jersey to make sure everything ran smoothly.
“This was our first sports tour in Jersey and I hope there’ll be many more,” commented Danielle. “All the boys and teachers had a wonderful time. The surf lessons were a real hit and it was a great experience for them to play against the Jersey Reds.”
