Petit Port Café Opens for Summer with New Menu

Publish date: 22 May 2026

The Petit Port Café, a cocktail and dining retreat at the four-star St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, Health Club & Spa, is making its 2026 return with the launch of a new lunch and dinner menu.

Fast-becoming one of the island’s hottest casual dining spots, the outdoor café-bar is opening for Jersey residents and visitors alike on May 22, 2026, and will be open throughout the summer.

Located in the Hotel’s five acres of tropical gardens, the raised poolside patio and unspoiled views of St Brelade’s Bay give the Petit Port Café a unique setting. It offers a new, tempting summer menu, premium wines, and cocktails, and they’re not just for the golden hour as the sun goes down over the west end of the bay.

The stylish and informal décor, relaxed, poolside location and array of fresh, vibrant dishes, makes dining here feel like a culinary vacation.

The Petit Port Café summer menu offers a fresh take on classic dishes, and a hint of Caribbean flavours to spice things up.  Why the Caribbean? Chefs at The Petit Port Café also lead the kitchens at the hotel’s sister property, Lone Star in Barbados, and are here to showcase Bajan cuisine and Lone Star signature dishes, alongside Jersey favourites.

Sizzling prime cuts prepared on the outdoor grill, as well as freshly caught seafood, local where possible, feature strongly throughout the menu.

Jersey Branchage Cider Battered Haddock, Grilled Swordfish Steak, Spiced Moules Mariniere and Jersey Crab Linguine are highlights, along with a daily ‘fish of the day’ straight from the seas on your doorstep. Enjoy a succulent charcoal grilled sirloin steak, a juicy local burger, Bajan Fish Cakes or share the Mixed Bajan Grill – half Jerk BBQ ribs, three fiery Bajan hot and spicy buffalo chicken wings, a six-ounce grilled sirloin, corn on the cob, peppercorn and BBQ sauce, and skinny fries.

If you have room for dessert, try Jamaican Ginger and Pineapple Upside Down Pudding, Eton Mess Ice Cream Sundae or a selection of artisanal chesses to round things off nicely. Sandwiches, salads, and lighter bites are also available at lunchtime as well as a children’s menu that offers fabulous value for money for younger diners.

The Petit Port Café is open to from 12pm–10.30pm. It is open daily for lunch, and Thursday to Sunday for dinner. Dinner bookings are essential. To book or for more information, please call 01534 746 141 or email at [email protected].

Alongside the return of the Petit Port Café, the Hotel will be opening it’s beachside Lawn Bar on May 29, 2026. Set in the hotel’s private seafront garden, The Lawn Bar will be serving drinks daily from 4.30pm-9.00pm, with special Friday promotions throughout the Summer. Reservations not needed and offers private beach access.

Tomas Nadassky, general manager, St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, Health Club & Spa says: “Our new summer menu in The Petit Port Café is an exciting culinary fusion that I know will be popular. This unique blend of fine produce, local ingredients and Caribbean flavours gives us dishes that really create excitement. The food, cocktails, casual vibe and gorgeous views overlooking our outdoor pool, gardens, and St Brelade’s Bay gives the place an informal, and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy all summer long.”
