The Popular Harbour Master’s Harbour Walks to Resume!
‘A Harbour Master’s History of St Helier Harbour’
From Tuesday 23rd May, Captain Brian Nibbs, an accredited Tour Guide and a former Harbour Master, will resume his popular Harbour Walks, commencing at 1030hrs every Tuesday.
The Walk – a gentle stroll - starts from under the suspended sculpture of ‘Jersey Girl’, Liberation Place, St Helier – about 100 metres from Liberation Bus Station (where the Tourism Information Centre is situated) and a few steps from Henley’s Café.
‘This will be my 8th year of conducting these Walks and I look forward to welcoming residents enjoying a ‘staycation’ and visitors from near and far, now that air and sea travel have re-commenced’ Brian, a member of the Jersey Tourist Guides Association, commented.
‘I’ll be making a donation of £1 for every participant to Family Nursing & Home Care, whose front-line staff have fulfilled their duties throughout the pandemic and continue to do so’, explained Captain Nibbs, who has always supported a local charity.
Booking can be made either by email or mobile phone, before 0930hrs on the Tuesday. Brian looks forward to hearing from you by either email or mobile. Further details are on: www.jersey.com
