Taste Jersey Food Festival Returns to Showcase Island’s Culinary Excellence

Publish date: 20 Feb 2025

Local produce takes centre stage at the Taste Jersey food festival, which runs from 20th March to 30th April 2025. This annual celebration of Jersey’s vibrant culinary scene showcases the diverse styles in the Island’s leading restaurants.

Taste Jersey, now in its sixth year, was launched in 2019 in partnership with All Island Media to highlight the Island’s abundance of exceptional ingredients. The Island boasts a wealth of local delicacies, from the freshest seafood and creamy dairy to the world-renowned Jersey Royal potatoes. Each year, Taste Jersey continues to evolve, offering guests increasingly impressive exclusive events and experiences to delight even the most discerning foodie.

Building on the success of previous years, Taste Jersey 2025 introduces exciting new dining events and experiences, including a Chocolate Tasting lunch, a kitchen tour, an opportunity to meet the farmers and producers who support Jersey’s culinary excellence, and more.

Meet the Chefs, Taste Jersey’s popular signature event, will return on 20th March at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel. Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with some of Jersey’s leading Chefs and fellow foodies while enjoying a selection of canapés and a welcome glass of Taittinger champagne.

Patrick Burke, founder member and chairman of Luxury Jersey Hotels and owner and Managing Director of The Atlantic Hotel, commented: “Jersey is in a unique position to deliver a world-class gastronomic experience. We live on an island with the most fantastic produce, and over the last 15 to 20 years, we have seen the emergence of specialist producers and suppliers who provide the quality ingredients our chefs need to create their dishes. With the excellent quality of producers and the talent of some of the finest chefs in the British Isles, we can truly celebrate all that is wonderful about the Island.”

Luxury Jersey Hotels’ commitment to culinary excellence is evident in the prestigious awards its restaurants have garnered. The group boasts three AA 4 Rosette restaurants: Ocean Restaurant, Bohemia, and Tassili. Bohemia also holds One Michelin Star. Similarly, The Grill at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa holds two AA Rosettes. These accolades underscore the exceptional dining experiences available at Luxury Jersey Hotels.

The participating Luxury Jersey Hotels are The Atlantic Hotel, The Club Hotel & Spa, Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa, Hotel de France, St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, and L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa.

Established in 2009, Luxury Jersey Hotels is a collection of six independent four—and five-star hotels in Jersey. Together with its partners, it increases awareness of the Island’s luxury sector through special events, digital marketing, and collaborations to build visitor interest in Jersey.
