Publish date: 03 Apr 2025
The 2025 Jersey International Motoring Festival (JIMF), the Channel Islands’ premier celebration of motorsport heritage, is set to welcome 2018 British Superbike Champion and World Superbike race winner Leon Haslam for an unforgettable showcase of motorcycle racing history. Taking place from 5th–8th June in Jersey’s picturesque capital of St. Helier, the festival is a must-visit for motorsport enthusiasts from the UK and beyond.
Haslam will be riding one of the iconic ‘Airwaves’ Ducati 999R superbikes, the very machine he competed on during his 2006 and 2007 British Superbike Championship campaigns, where he secured runner-up and third-place finishes, respectively.
Marking its 25th anniversary, JIMF will feature a spectacular display of legendary superbikes, joined by some of the biggest names in motorcycle racing. Among them are John and Rick Hackett of JHP Racing, renowned for their expertise in supporting British and World Superbike teams. They will be showcasing an exceptional collection of historically significant motorcycles, including:
🏍 Ducati 916 Strada (1994) – A true icon of the superbike era, defining Ducati’s dominance in the ’90s.
🏍 Ducati 888 Corse (1992/93) – A championship-winning machine from the golden age of Superbike racing.
🏍 Seeley Matchless G50 – A classic with Grand Prix pedigree, including a 2nd-place finish in the 1970 German Grand Prix.
Fans will have the rare opportunity to see, hear, and experience these legendary machines in action. Thrilling demonstration runs will take place on Thursday and Friday evenings, while a static display of over 20 superbikes will be available throughout the weekend. Visitors can get up close to the bikes and meet Leon Haslam, John Hackett, and Rick Hackett in person.
