Supertri Returns to Jersey for All-Star Showdown

Publish date: 20 May 2026

Supertri is delighted to announce that its world-class triathletes will return to Jersey for its Pro Series Final in September, competing for a staggering $800,000 prize purse.

The global triathlon brand will stage its season-ending showdown on September 6, 2026, bringing the sport’s biggest names back to the island following the resounding success of the Supertri League Jersey event in 2025.

This will mark the sixth time that Supertri has hosted an event in Jersey, further strengthening the island’s reputation as a premier destination for elite sport and reinforcing its special place in the Supertri calendar.

Michael D’hulst, CEO and Co-Founder of Supertri, said: “This is a huge year for Supertri, as we truly unify professional and amateur racing and grow the sport of triathlon. Our new Pro Series is the very pinnacle of short course racing with the sport’s superstars ready to come to Jersey to fight for the biggest one-day prize purse in the sport in 2026. We consider Jersey to be the spiritual home of Supertri, so we can’t think of anywhere more fitting to host the Supertri Pro Series Final this year.”

Last year’s event delivered far more than just world-class racing, creating a lasting social impact across the island. From school visits and athlete Q&As to grassroots coaching sessions, Supertri connected with hundreds of young people and local organisations, helping to inspire the next generation of athletes.

Working closely with Jersey Sport, the event also supported the island’s ambition to inspire a more active community and encourage islanders to adopt healthier lifestyles and give different sports a try.

Michael D’hulst added: “It was fantastic to see how much the community embraced the event once again in 2025. We had the chance to meet so many aspiring athletes and hear their stories, and to visit schools and see our Olympic stars inspiring a new generation, which is exactly what Supertri is all about. We’re really looking forward to working with Jersey Sport again this year to continue spreading that message and inspiring even more people to get active.”

David Kennedy, CEO of Jersey Sport, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Supertri back to Jersey in 2026. Our island has quickly become a popular destination within the Supertri series, and much of that success comes down to the strong connection the athletes build with our community whenever they visit.

“The event is always an opportunity to show off Jersey at its best to the world of sport, and to inspire people locally by bringing world-class competition right to our doorstep. We look forward to building on the success of previous years and once again creating lasting experiences for both participants and spectators across the island.”

The Supertri Pro Series has revamped its format for 2026 and athletes will be competing as individuals rather than in teams. There will be three Pro Series events leading up to the final which will open up the competition to a wider selection of elite athletes, and see amateurs racing alongside professionals. The top three athletes per gender from each Pro Series event will earn the chance to compete against Supertri’s all-star roster in Jersey for the Final.

The Pro Series Final has a staggering $800,000 prize purse on offer, the largest single-day prize fund in triathlon this year. The stakes have never been higher for the Supertri athletes, so Jersey spectators can expect some nail-biting competition ahead of the finish line. Olympic champions Alex Yee and Cassandre Beaugrand have already confirmed they will race in Jersey and will both be tough to beat.

Alongside the elite racing, Supertri will partner again with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) to support RBC Race for the Kids, the mass participation charity fun run. Following the incredible turnout in 2025, when almost 1,000 participants walked, ran, scooted and pushed prams to raise funds for Jersey Child Care Trust, the team is aiming to build on that momentum and encourage even more islanders to get involved this year.

UBS Global Wealth Management will also return as the official partner for Supertri in Jersey, with further announcements to come as the firm continues to help strengthen community impact around the event.

The Supertri Pro Series Final will take place on September 6, the same weekend as 3D Events’ Swim Run Jersey and the JSAC Half Marathon, creating a landmark ‘weekend of endurance sport’ in Jersey. The weekend kicks off against the dramatic backdrop of Mont Orgueil Castle on Saturday morning, as Swim Run Jersey competitors begin their adventure along Jersey’s stunning shoreline. On Sunday morning, runners of all abilities will line up at FB Fields for Jersey Spartan Athletic Club’s Hearty Half Marathon, in support of Jersey Heart Support Group. To conclude the epic ‘weekend of endurance sport’, Supertri athletes will once again dive into the marina for the Pro Series Final on Sunday afternoon.

The packed schedule promises an unforgettable few days for competitors and spectators alike, showcasing the island as a leading destination for endurance sport. Supertri is also looking forward to supporting and celebrating the other events across the weekend, with the team excited to cheer on participants and contribute to what promises to be a unique and vibrant sporting atmosphere.

This September, Supertri’s return to Jersey promises to deliver another unforgettable chapter — both on and off the course.
