Jersey Pearl set to invest £200k in café relaunch

Publish date: 20 Feb 2024

Family-owned business Jersey Pearl has been a landmark destination in the West for decades, welcoming generations of locals and island visitors to their iconic St Ouen showroom. Having stood the test of time over the last 39 years, Jersey Pearl are 100% committed to bringing new life to the area showcasing a warm Jersey welcome to everyone who visits. “Tourism in Jersey, especially hospitality, has been difficult but we believe in it – we know our experience, along with investment, can make this work.” says Julia Williams, Product Director.

Their popular café with sea views is set to get a whole new look this spring connecting it more to the environment that surrounds it. There will also be a new larger service area, more delicious seasonal dishes that encompass Jersey’s local produce and a modern seating area designed to give guests an unmissable experience that celebrates the real Jersey, alongside shopping, immersive experiences and events.

“2024 is an exciting year for us as we head towards our 40th birthday – and we’ve got lots of reasons to celebrate starting off with a new café at our St. Ouen flagship! We’ve become a part of people’s most important family moments from treating themselves on holiday to buying jewellery for a wedding or special occasion, and I love that our pick-a-pearl experience has become a tradition through generations. Our new café will be at the heart of this, bringing people together on the island again and again with wonderful food, views and service.” says Julia.
