The Jersey National Park is delighted to announce that its Chairman, Jim Hopley, has become a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to the community and is the only Jersey person to be recognised in The Queen’s New Year Honours List 2022.
Jim stepped down as CEO of the Channel Islands’ Co-operative Society in 2011 and has since chaired a variety of bodies in Jersey, including the Jersey Cheshire Home, Genuine Jersey as well as leading the Jersey National Park.
