The Atlantic Hotel welcomes the Legends Tour for second year

Publish date: 16 May 2023

The Atlantic Hotel in Jersey is pleased to be the official hotel partner for the prestigious Legends Tour for the second consecutive year.

The Legends Tour provides the greatest amateur experience in golf with opportunities to play alongside Legends of golf. Formerly known as The European Senior Tour, this long-standing event features a strong playing membership that includes former Major Winners, World Number Ones and Ryder Cup Players and Captains. The Legends Tour boasts a truly international schedule with tournaments taking place in the UK & Ireland, mainland Europe and the exotic climes of the Indian Ocean at the conclusion of the season. The Jersey Legends returns for the second consecutive year, taking place at La Moye Golf Club in June.

Bordering this championship course and sharing breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, The Atlantic Hotel is the ideal sanctuary for golf fans and players. Patrick Burke, Owner and Managing Director said: “We began the partnership with the Legends Tour when they returned to Jersey last year and it certainly was a very memorable event. It was fantastic to see such a professional and high profile sporting event taking place right on our doorstep.”

“It was always our intention to form a long term relationship with the tour and we’re delighted that they will be returning this year. We are once again the tour’s official hotel partner and are looking forward to welcoming players and spectators to the hotel and to hosting the Celebrity Series draw party which promises to be a spectacular event. We will also be extending our hospitality to those playing in the Celebrity Series by offering a complimentary glass of Taittinger Champagne at the 3rd hole before they tee off.”

Mark Aspland the Chief Operating Officer of the Legends Tour said: “It is fantastic that the Legends Tour are partnering with The Atlantic Hotel for the Jersey Legends event once again; sponsoring the 3rd hole and hosting the Celebrity Series draw on the Wednesday which will set up the highly anticipated event in style.”

“The Atlantic Hotel is one of the finest hotels in Jersey, showcasing spectacular views of the coastline and having incredible hospitality on offer, providing the perfect place to stay whilst at the Jersey Legends tournament.”

The Jersey Legends takes place from the 8th to 11th June 2023, and you can see Major Champion Ian Woosnam and defending champion Richard Green as well as a host of celebrities who are set to compete in the Celebrity Series event.
