We are very happy to announce that the Norman Market is coming back to Jersey this week! The event will take place from Wednesday 13 September until Sunday 17 September from 9am until late every day.
The Norman market is a well-established event in Jersey which is all about bringing something different to the island, and promoting the quality of the Norman products. Come enjoy the French atmosphere with a glass of cider in one hand, a crepe in the other and some quality smelly cheese in your shopping bag!
Be advised that the market will be moving for the weekend. The traders will be set up on:
- Royal Square from Wednesday to Friday (13-14-15)
- Weighbridge on Saturday & Sunday (16-17)
During those five days, you will be able to buy cider, apple juice, saucissons, rillettes, crepes, sausage sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, and a large variety of cheese!
A new trader will also join us over the weekend at The Weighbridge, with high-quality vanilla beans from Madagascar and other vanilla products. Based in Agon-Coutainville (Manche), Sébastien Lengronne has been selling vanilla for many years around the markets of la Manche and we are thrilled to welcome him in Jersey!
Maison de Normandie’s team will also be holding a stall with a selection of quality products all made in Normandy: gin, P’tit Zef (calvados based aperitif), a few more Ragnar beers, mustards, cookies, jams, nougats…
