The Team Jersey Online Training Programme has been specifically designed to offer anyone working in the tourism and hospitality industry here in Jersey, whatever the role, the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and understanding of our island and what it has to offer. The programme will give you the confidence and ability to share information with your customers, helping them make the most of their Jersey experience.

These five easy-to-follow training modules cover a wide range of topics and facts, including information on getting around the island, what to see and do, and it covers some of the more frequently asked questions. We even have a section, which explains how to pronounce some of the island’s quirky place names. Even if you took the course last year, we have updated a lot of the content, showcasing some of the newer activities and experiences for this year – and of course, as a result, you’ll be eligible to receive your 2025 Team Jersey Pass.

  • Each of the modules finish with a short (and easy!) multiple-choice quiz, based on what you’ve just discovered.
  • You can take the course at your own pace and leisure, so if you’re pushed for time you can simply pause and pick up from where you left off at a later date.
  • Just by living and working in Jersey you’ll be amazed by just how much you know already – so why not give the training course a go, test yourself and learn something new at the same time, helping to grow your knowledge of our island.

Team Jersey Familiarisation Trip

And that’s not all! We will be arranging our popular island familiarisation coach tour this year – a great way to experience the island at first hand in the company of a qualified local guide. This full day coastal coach tour will also visit a number of popular attractions along the way as well as the obligatory photo stops.

The tour is free and includes a sandwich lunch. Places are limited and available on a first-come basis, with priority given to those who have already completed the online training course. We’ll be sharing further details with your HR Manager soon.
