Publish date: 28 Aug 2024

The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant are pleased to announce an extraordinary culinary event featuring Michelin-starred chef Hywel Jones from Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. On the evening of 15th November 2024, guests will have the opportunity to experience a five-course dinner, crafted in collaboration with The Atlantic Hotel’s Executive Chef, Will Holland.

Hywel Jones, who has held a Michelin star at Restaurant Hywel Jones by Lucknam Park since 2006, is celebrated for his exquisite seasonal tasting menus that offer guests an unforgettable fine dining experience. His distinguished career began under the mentorship of David Nichols at The Royal Garden, followed by significant roles in some of the world’s most prestigious Michelin-starred establishments, including Chez Nico at 90, Marco Pierre White, and Le Souffle. Jones earned his first Michelin star as Head Chef at Foliage restaurant in the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. Prior to his tenure at Lucknam Park, he served as Executive Chef at Pharmacy Restaurant in Notting Hill. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and his dedication to sourcing the finest ingredients, often from local suppliers, Jones ensures that every dish he creates delivers the fullest flavours.

Will Holland, Executive Chef at The Atlantic Hotel said:

“It is an incredible honour to work alongside Hywel Jones. The menu we’ve created together is a celebration of the best seasonal ingredients. Guests can look forward to dishes such as Dressed Jersey Crab, followed by Roast Halibut Fillet, and a rich, tender Venison Loin. Every course is designed to complement and enhance the flavours of the other.”

The special evening at Ocean Restaurant will commence with drinks and canapés, followed by a five-course menu that highlights the culinary expertise of both Hywel Jones and Will Holland. Both The Atlantic Hotel and Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa are proud members of Pride of Britain Hotels, a collection of the finest independently owned hotels in the UK. This collaboration brings together two establishments committed to offering exceptional experiences in stunning settings.

Patrick Burke, Owner of The Atlantic Hotel, shared his enthusiasm for the event:
