Jersey War Tunnels celebrates fourth consecutive win in Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards

Publish date: 08 Jul 2024

‘An unforgettable experience’, ‘Incredibly moving and educational’, and ‘A top-tier historical site’ – these are just some of the comments that have once again helped Jersey War Tunnels secure a prestigious spot in Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards for the fourth consecutive year. This award, granted by the world’s largest travel review website, is based on the consistent positive feedback from visitors over the past year.

Damian Warman General Manager of Jersey War Tunnels expressed his gratitude, saying, “Receiving this award for the fourth year in a row is a tremendous honour. We value the trust that millions of travellers’ place in Trip Advisor reviews, and we are incredibly thankful to all our visitors who have shared their experiences and contributed to this achievement.”

Jersey War Tunnels offers an evocative glimpse into Jersey’s occupation during World War II and continues to be a top-rated attraction for its educational and emotional impact. A recent visitor shared on Trip Advisor, “In my opinion you can’t get better than this. Visiting the War Tunnels was a very thought provoking, interesting and powerful experience. It is certainly unlike other museums, due to the very nature of the buildings. The displays gave a real insight into life on Jersey during WWII.”

Another commented, “Fantastic visit to a brilliantly presented story of the occupation of Jersey during WWII. So much information provided, in perfectly-sized chunks and in various ways. Something for everyone.”

Since its inception in 2002, the Travelers’ Choice Award has been Trip Advisor’s highest accolade, recognising the best in tourism and hospitality based on millions of reviews and opinions from travellers around the globe. Jersey War Tunnels’ consistent high ratings and positive feedback from visitors have ensured its place among the world’s leading attractions.
