Jersey Hospitality Association
As the trade association of the island’s hospitality sector, the Jersey Hospitality’s Association (JHA) offers a clear strategic role to provide leadership and direction for the development of the visitor economy. The JHA positively promotes the industry's priorities through partnerships with government, trade partners, other associations and organisations by effectively representing hospitality and tourism in Jersey.
Jersey Business provides free, independent, confidential advice and support to businesses in Jersey. Working with businesses at all stages of their commercial journey, from start-up through improvement, growth and exit, Jersey Business work across the tourism and hospitality sector, supporting businesses to provide excellent products and customer service.
Institute of Directors (IoD) Jersey
Representing over 650 individuals from all sectors of the business community, both private and public sectors, IoD Jersey represents their local members' views and concerns to government, whilst having professional business support whenever it is required. The local branch promotes the business sector and strives through lobbying to ensure that political decisions support local business and free enterprise.
Digital Jersey is home to a growing, active, connected and passionate digital community. Individuals, companies, community groups, charities and government all collaborate to learn and share, improving the work we do and island life. The Digital Jersey team works closely with local agencies to support local entrepreneurs, corporates and inward investors in achieving their business goals.
Chamber of Commerce
Chamber is the largest employer representative body in the island, a vibrant association of members from all business sectors who are dedicated to the promotion of trade, commerce and the general prosperity of Jersey. Chamber is completely self-funded by its membership, quite autonomous of Government and is able to express an independent view.
Green Tourism is a not-for-profit organisation which encourages and enables businesses to make sustainable choices that reduce their impact on the planet. Starting in Scotland, Green Tourism now has over 2000 members across the UK, Ireland, Italy, Canada and Zimbabwe and the Channel Islands.
Quality in Tourism
All tourist accommodation in Jersey which accommodates 6 or more guests must be registered. Grading is optional. The Jersey Quality Assured (grading) scheme (JQA) is assessed by Quality in Tourism who also provide the assessment service for Visit England.
