April 2026 Summary

  • Visits: Overnight leisure visits increased by 2,700 in April (+17% vs 2025) and were up 12% year to date to 88,400. Total visits were up slightly (+1%) in April and are now flat year to date (-0.8%). Air visits were up 3% year to date, offset by a fall in sea visitors (-17%).
  • Bed Nights and Length of Stay: There were 132,100 bed nights in April 2026, unchanged from April 2025. The average length of stay was 4.2 nights, unchanged from the same period in 2025.
  • Passengers: In April 2026, 77,700 passengers departed Jersey, 3,400 more than the previous year. Departing passengers are up 1% year to date.

This included:

An estimated 88,400 visits to Jersey were made in the year to April 2026, 700 fewer than in 2025 (-1%).

This included:

  • Day visits: 7,300 (-31% or -3,200)

In the year to April 2026, there were an estimated 225,000 departing passengers from Jersey, 1,500 more than in 2025.

Visitors made up 39% of departing passengers year to date to April.

  • Conducted monthly at ports and airport departures

  • Subject to revision as more data becomes available
