- Visitors: Total visitors were +4% in July 2026 vs last year, though year-to-date visitors were -1%. Overnight leisure visits continued to grow, +5% in July 2026 and +10% year-to-date. Sea visits were +10% in July 2026, a strong month, though year-to-date total sea visitors are -6%, while total air visitors were +2% year-to-date.
- Total Passengers: Total departing passengers were +5% in July 2026 vs 2025 and were +2% year-to-date.
- Sea Passengers: Total sea departing passengers were +3% year-to-date to July 2026, with St Malo +7%, and Portsmouth +17%. Those increases were offsets by decreases of -23% for Granville, -27% for Carteret and -55% for cruise, with Poole also -6%.
- Bed Nights and Length of Stay: Total bed nights were +2% in July 2026 vs 2025. The average length of stay was 4.9 nights in July 2026, vs 5.0 nights in 2025.
