Visit Jersey Board appoints new non-executive directors.

Publish date: 06 Feb 2024

The Visit Jersey Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin George and Kyle Haughton as Non-Executive Directors, replacing board members who are retiring by rotation.

Martin George, former Customer Director at Waitrose and member of the Waitrose Management Board, joins the Visit Jersey Board with immediate effect, following the departure of Ian Gray, Finance Director at Seymour Hotels of Jersey.

Kyle Haughton, former Managing Director and board member at City Cruises plc, has also been appointed and will join the board in April 2024, replacing Amanda Willmott, a leader in hospitality brand development.

The appointments follow the announcement of two new Non-Executive Directors to the Visit Jersey Board in October 2023: Claire Bentley, Managing Director of British Airways Holidays, and Daniel Rowles, CEO of Jersey-based digital marketing consultancy Target Internet.

Visit Jersey Chair, Lisa Springate, said of the appointments: “It is an exciting, rapidly changing time for global tourism and we are delighted to welcome Martin and Kyle to the Visit Jersey Board. Their wealth of experience and diverse skill sets complement the existing expertise on the board, and will strengthen Jersey’s position as we work to build a vibrant, sustainable visitor economy. The Visit Jersey Board and team are sincerely grateful to Amanda and Ian for their valued commitment and contributions over many years.”
