Summary – Q3 2025
Total visitor spend in Jersey reached £123.4 million in Q3 2025, a 9% decrease in nominal terms compared with Q3 2024. Year to date, total visitor spend reached £226.3m, down 10%.
The fall was driven by a drop in volume, as average spend per overnight visit increased to £691 in Q3 2025 (up 7%), and was up 7% year to date (to £624). Average spend per visitor night was broadly unchanged in Q3 2025 at £141, and was up 3% year to date.
Jersey’s Net Promoter Score (NPS) for Q3 2025 was 71, down from 77 in Q3 2024, and year to date was 70 (down from 75). 75% of leisure visitors rated their likelihood to recommend Jersey as 9 or 10 out of 10.
38% of visitors in Q3 2025 were visiting Jersey for the first time.

Total visitor spend in Jersey reached £123.4 million in Q3 2025, 9% lower than the same quarter in 2024. For the year to date, total spend stood at £226.3 million, down 10% on 2024.
Overnight visitors made up the majority of spend, contributing £122.8 million in Q3 2025 (down 7%) and £224.8 million year to date (down 9%). Within this, overnight leisure spend reached £106.8 million in Q3 (-7%), and £192.5 million year to date (-8%).
Air visitors spent £93.8 million in Q3 2025, a decrease of 7% on the same quarter last year, and year to date spend of £178.4 million was 6% lower than 2024. Sea visitor spend was £29.6 million in Q3 (down 14%) and £47.9 million year to date (down 24%).
UK visitors remained the largest source of spend, accounting for £101.7 million in Q3 2025 and £185.6 million year to date. Leisure visitors contributed £107.4 million in Q3 and £193.8 million year to date (-9%).

Average spend per overnight visit in Q3 2025 was £691, up 7% vs Q3 2024 (£643). Year to date, average spend per overnight visit was £624, up 7% on the same period of 2024 (£585).
Spending per visitor night, a measure of daily expenditure for staying visitors, was £141 in Q3 2025, broadly unchanged from £140 in Q3 2024. Year to date, average spend per visitor night was £139, up 3% from £135.

Jersey’s Net Promoter Score (NPS) among leisure visitors reached 71 in Q3 2025, a decrease of 6 from Q3 2024. Year to date, NPS was 70, down from 75 in Q1 to Q3 2024.
In Q3 2025, 75% of leisure visitors rated their likelihood to recommend Jersey as 9 or 10 out of 10, a decrease from 80% in Q3 2024. Year to date, 75% of leisure visitors were promoters, compared with 78% in Q1 to Q3 2024.
NPS is calculated by subtracting the proportion of detractors (those scoring 6 or below) from the proportion of promoters (those scoring 9 or 10), based on how likely visitors say they are to recommend Jersey on a scale of 0 to 10. Scores range from -100 to 100. It is calculated from leisure visitors only.
First Time Visit

38% of visitors in Q3 2025 were visiting Jersey for the first time, a decrease from 43% in Q3 2024. Year to date, 43% of all surveyed visitors were first-time visitors, compared with 45% in the same period of 2024.

About the Visitor Volume Survey
The Visitor Experience Survey is conducted quarterly by Tourism South East on behalf of Visit Jersey. Interviews are carried out with departing visitors at Jersey Airport and Elizabeth Harbour. The survey collects data on visitor spend, purpose of visit, satisfaction ratings, and likelihood to recommend Jersey. Net Promoter Score is based on leisure visitors only.
Results are estimates based on a representative sample and are subject to revision as more data becomes available. Figures are rounded to reflect the inherent uncertainty in sample-based estimates.
