Ethan Lawson-Earley, who is the senior chef de partie at The Atlantic Hotel’s Ocean Restaurant, is to take part in the prestigious Young National Chef of the Year competition.

The Jersey National Park is delighted to announce that its Chairman, Jim Hopley, has become a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to the community and is the only Jersey person to be recognised in The Queen’s New Year Honours List 2022.

Independent tour operator Premier Holidays recently hosted a group of agents in Cardiff for a Channel Islands training event. More than 30 agents attended the evening, which saw a number of hotel suppliers from Jersey and Guernsey fly over especially for the event including Longueville Manor, The Atlantic and Hand Picked Hotels. It was hosted by Premier Holidays’ short haul general manager Beverley Scarr and national sales manager Carly Charteris to help the operator’s key agents learn more about how to sell both islands.
