Visit Jersey placed third in two award categories last night at the Travel Marketing Awards in London, awards that recognise marketing excellence.
Our two awards Kilted Yoga in the Video/Film category and our Autumn 2017 campaign ‘How do you want to feel’ in the Digital Marketing Campaign category showcased why Jersey is a such a special place for a holiday.
An institution since 2009, the Awards have firmly established their reputation as the most coveted marketing awards in travel and tourism. Each entry is evaluated by an elite judging panel of senior marketers, and only the very best work makes it onto the Awards shortlist.
According to the The Travel Marketing Awards website it "recognises the most original, creative, innovative and best performing campaigns of the past year, as well as teams and individuals excelling in travel marketing."
The campaign ‘How do you want to feel?’ was produced in partnership with local agency Oi. The campaign which was partly shot in London featured real people being asked both how they were feeling versus how they wanted to feel. Many of their answers highlighted the stresses of living in a city, which presented the perfect opportunity to position Jersey as the tonic to city life.
The hugely successful video was distributed using a variety of channels that specialise in high engagement and video interactions achieving over 1.5 million views as well as helping to achieve a 17% increase in visitors to the island in October and November last year.
