Eighteen travel agents were whisked over to Jersey for a two-night educational with Premier Holidays.
The independent tour operator put on an action-packed itinerary to show the agents exactly what the island break has to offer.
The group enjoyed a number of excursions to some of Jersey’s top attractions including a guided tour around La Mare Vineyard with wine and chocolate tasting, the Jersey War Tunnels and Jersey Zoo, where they caught a glimpse of the zoo’s new luxury tented camp.
Also on the agenda was an island tour around Jersey with stops at popular hotspots such as Gorey Harbour, Mont Orgueil Castle, Greve de Lecq, St Ouen’s and Corbiere, plus a call to see the famous Sandcastle Builder of Jersey.
The familiarisation trip was well received by all the agents and it helped to improve their knowledge of Jersey. Annie Hughes, from Newells Travel, said: “Jersey is a magical combination of breathtaking landscapes with thriving towns and harbours set in a quiet part of the world – the perfect short break.”
Caroline Weir, from Travel Norwich Airport, said: “It was fun, informative and a very useful trip to improve my knowledge of Jersey.”
