Day 2

Wild Adventures

Get lost in the wilds of St. Ouen’s Bay as you soak in fantastic scenery, encounter local wildlife, and learn about the vast variety of wild edible and medicinal plants our unique environment has to offer.

Go foraging with Kazz from Wild Adventures, journey in some of the wilder parts of the island using natural navigating skills. At the end of the forage, enjoy a wild BBQ with Kazz, you might even get to try some of Kazz’s homemade elderflower champagne.

Island Hopping Yoga with Vanessa Garrett

Wind down and connect with nature from a different perspective. Island Hop Yoga with Vanessa will see you hop on board a RIB boat with Jersey Seafaris and be whisked off to the other worldly islands of Les Ecréhous or Les Miniquiers, with miles of reefs, seabanks and rocky islands revealed at low tide. Surrounded by crystal clear waters, escape the hustle of busy life!

Collect a picnic lunch from The 3 Arches before you head off for an hour’s long yoga class with time to explore, relax, and swim. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a seal or pod of dolphins en route!

La Crête Fort, Jersey Heritage Let

Nestling on a headland, this tranquil property is built on Jersey’s rugged north coast and is surrounded on three sides by the sea. Regarded as ‘an icon of the island’s strong sense of individuality and self-determination’, La Crête Fort has held military importance since a rampart was built on the site during the 16th century.

Well off the beaten track, La Crête Fort is the ideal get-away-from-it-all retreat in Jersey’s National Park. The property dates from 1830 but sits on a site that was first militarised in the 16th century.

Day 3

Jersey National Park

Start your morning off with a walk along the north coast of Jersey, through the Jersey National Park led by Jersey Uncovered. Steep cliffs, clad in gorse and bracken, overlook perfect hidden bays and inlets, while an uninterrupted coast path climbs and dips, roller-coaster like, its entire length. Little wonder it’s where you’ll find some of the finest scenic walks in Jersey.

Discover the Park’s visitor centre called the Frances Le Sueur Centre in the heart of the park in St. Ouen’s Bay where you can try yoga to the sound of birds.

Jersey Birding Tours

You’ll have worked up quite an appetite. For a lunch spot in the warmer months, we suggest Faulkner Fisheries housed in a WW2 German Bunker at L’Etacq. Try the oysters and barbecued Jersey scallops with Jersey Royals served up with a side of sea view.

Your afternoon is free to discover some of Jersey’s beautiful birds and wildlife with Jersey Birding Tours. Reconnect with nature at these protected wide-open spaces from wetlands to sand dunes, spot majestic Marsh Harriers circling overhead. Be sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Forest Bathing

Day 4

The Botanic Gardens at Samarès Manor

You’d be forgiven in thinking that you had stepped back in time to the 1920s when entering this wonderful Manor, as this was when the garden was originally constructed! You’ll discover the beautiful Manor house dating back in part, to Medieval times. It remains today the traditional home of the Seigneur de Samarès.

You will soon lose yourself in the variety of gardens created here, discovering everything from herb gardens to Japanese gardens, to field walks through areas set aside for wildflowers.

A unique centre dedicated to orchids and proud Chelsea Flower Show gold medallists. Eric Young Orchid Foundation is the perfect all-weather all-season attraction. Admire the sheer diversity of this most extravagant and flamboyant of all flowers in a purpose-built display facility. Stroll through the beautiful gardens, enjoy a drink, or bring a picnic and relax.

Born in 1911, Eric Young was truly one of the great orchardists of his time and was widely respected and honoured throughout the international orchid community.

Join Jersey Walk Adventures (JWA) at Seymour Tower as night descends and the ocean recedes, star-like shapes of luminous green begin to twinkle and sparkle in a few special spots at low tide. JWA offer a range of amazing, guided walks and experiences across the island’s vast coastal landscape.
